Thankful Thursdays

Tiffiny~~  I have so much to be thankful for.   Over the past 30 days we embarked on a challenge per-say where everyday we posted something we are thankful for.  God is so good, for 30 days I was able to post something I am thankful for without ever repeating one thing.    But this is not about that challenge.  This is about a whole new thing I am Thankful for.  I am SOOo thankful for new opportunities.  I am blessed as is Dee to be a Military wife, and we get to embark on new adventures much more often than most.   We moved here to Las Vegas a little over 4 years ago, and man oh man was that a new opportunity, brand new baby and a brand new home.  Well, then we got blessed with the opportunity to spend time with my mom, when her and my dad decided to move back to Las Vegas to retire, I am so glad to have gotten this opportunity and will forever cherish the memories we have made and will continue to make.   The latest opportunity we have been given is to move into a new house on base, we have lived in Las Vegas for 4yrs in a tiny 3 bedroom apartment, no yard for the kids to play.   I am so excited to be moving into our new house, a yard for the kids to play in a park right behind our house and new friends for all.  I am so excited to start the new year in a new home.

Dee: I am so thankful for the plan God has for Briar! I'm thankful that He has went before her in everything she has and will do. I'm thankful He will be with her every step of the way throughout her life and she will never be alone. I'm thankful for everything He has and will bless her with!


Tiff: I am thankful for the air I breath, the fact I woke up this morning and get to spend another wonderful chaotic day with my precious family. Just Thankful for life, Thank you Lord Jesus for allowing me this day to spend time with my family, to mess up and try again and still loving me regardless. ♥ This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24♥

Day 29 Of 30 Days Of Thankfulness

Dee: Fort Leavenworth! I love living on post, it's gorgeous here. I love our neighborhood. I love how safe I feel here. It's so convenient to be so close to Jeff's work, all the facilities and the stores. All the programs (especially for Briar), the groups, the events & the services are wonderful. I love it all!


Tiff: I am Thankful for craft projects. I am about to go make some blankies for my baby girl.

Dee: Books! I love to read and learn new things! Get caught up in characters lives! "Visit" new places! Get deeper into God's Word through bible studies and devotionals!


Tiff: I am Thankful for the long weekend and lots of time with my family and sad that it has come to an end.

Dee: My sister Krista Cox!! Girl I love you like you were my best friend, my sister, my twin. We have had so many great memories and awesome conversations! We've been through so much together that it's hard to even think of everything! I miss you and I miss us! We've been through some of the hardest times together and still seem to come through anything. And thank you for my 2 favorite little men JCCJ & DMC and soon my little niece JEC ♥!!


Tiff:  I am Thankful that God is Faithful, and loving regardless of my misdoings, all I have to do is ask for forgiveness. I can mess up over and over and he will never turn away and always be right there waiting for me to come back.

Dee: Today I'm grateful for my best friend Tiffiny Acquin!! She's been there for me in my hardest times the last two years. I have no idea sometimes how I would have gotten through without her! God knew exactly what I needed in a friend when he put us in each other's lives!

Tiff: I am Thankful for Lazy days, days were we do absolutely nothing but lay around the house.

Dee: Today I'm thankful for pictures!! I LOVE pictures!! I love being able to go back and revisit memories we may have forgotten all about or compare things, eg who a baby looks more like when their parents were babies!! To get to "see" family and friends and especially the kiddos "grow up" even when I'm not there to see it!!


Tiff: I am Thankful for Nice weather, Nice enough to spend this family day outside with our children.

Dee: Today I am thankful for NEW friends Elizabeth Casey Coleman & OLD NEW friends Sherry Bolin Parker and Mark Parker. Friends who will invite you into their homes for the Thanksgiving even when you've only known each other a short time :).


Tiff: I am Thankful for the time spent with my extended family (mom, dad and brothers) I know that the time is coming where this time will be spread out again! I love my family and and very thankful for them.

Dee: The peace that comes in knowing that no matter what happens, it's all in God's hands and He will take care of everything! He will provide and use everything in our lives to for our good :).


Tiff: I am Thankful for family time. I am so excited to spend the day with the family tomorrow.

Dee: Morning cuddle sessions with my Jeffrey :D! I love going to bed at night with him and wake up with him in the mornings.


Tiff: I am Thankful for Books. I love books, I love to read, and there is no way I would get through the long waits at the Drs office without one.
